[ASTRØnomer]:
[Intro]
Alright, ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking
My name's ASTRØnomer, my copilot Fi$cher Rich is on the guitar
Strap in
[Verse]
Now who would ever think that you would see me right here?
I’m standing up, showing off, regardless of my fear
I’m staring out your TV screens, shouting over your machines,
I’ll back my right to bounce through every block like I’m a trampoline
You never guessed I used to be a pessimist
Always been a fuckin’ mess
Fear is the one thing I can never forget
But now I’m on stage so it’s time to show my shit
Let’s get it, yeah first things first I live for me and mine
But I’m always dead honest so you can call me Frankenstein
Like a cat, I’m on life nine
Your lifeline for when your night’s dying and your sight flying
A million miles a second, you’ll get here I reckon
When you realize the Earth spins the speed that your setting
So, get here and ya wreck it
I promise otherwise you end up bottlenecking
The world’s been checking receipts for the last fifty weeks
So don’t tell me you fuckers been skipping a beat
Truth is you can keep up, but you choose not to
The globe spun on as it quietly forgot you
Øvercome your weakness
The only reason you afraid is cause you wanna speak it
So take a hint and don’t delete it.
It’s what your life’s been needing, so feed it
Learn how to read it, learn how to meet it
Learn every person’s got their demons
Learn how to Øvercome our havoc-wreaking
Clean your soul until you start believing
I think you catch my meaning, now see what I’m seein’
Jump into my feelings!
[Fi$cher Rich]:
I'm getting started by attacking the formality and challenging the platform pushing down on me
It's time to seize the opportunity that's right in front of me instead of letting sleazy bosses take advantage of me
AYE
I'm coming for my last check, fuck your authority, keep my unemployment that was never a priority
Full-time human but a part-time artist so I guess that you could say that I'm half-time honest
Give this shit a listen, let go of your prejudice, I'm on a fucking mission going straight for the clitoris
Killin' competition while I'm earning commission
It's Fi$cher Rich on the track, the self-written instrumentalist
[JAKENUNIS]:
This world ain't what it used to be
The fountain pen of youth is still used by we
The ink of a nation unused to me
A web of blank stares that used to see
I hate stairs 'cause they get harder
God forbid this come easy to me as Dwayne Carter
A lil' pain barter will make it rain harder, who sustains a parade when the entertainment's departed?
Probably the kids who want it bad enough or maybe wrapped in
cuffs, innately on the cusp of what is lately snuff
Or simply think too much about what's above or what's for lunch or what is love
All I know is that I'm true to me
Who he is now or who's to be
I think of all that truth can be
And all the colors in the hue of She

[ASTRØnomer]
A girl I loved told me I should never rap again
I’m being honest so that really ain’t happenin'
Look at me, Zach is on the track again
Shaking demons off my back
intact though in fact I sin
Is the second act any less pretend?
I guess you’re nothing more than a Facebook friend
Really this song is just a means to an end
Really what you said was meant to offend
Really I wanna tell that I still don’t sleep that great
I hate to say it but I still can’t cheat fate
Tell me, are you sure that you alive?
'Cause I still ain’t really sure how I manage to survive
There’s empty seats at the sermon on Sunday
Falling out of bed school ringing on Monday
Pull me up by the sole of your shoes
You can bloody me red, or color me blue
Now you’re not my lover, you’re not my friend
You’re only another voice in my head
You broke your promise and I hope that I wind up dead
You fucking cheated on me! I’ll love myself instead
[Chorus]
[JAKENUNIS & ASTRØnomer]
So if you need an alibi to hide the statement in your eyes
Tilt your head and try to cry to rinse this allegory dry
Whoa, I don't believe you, I don't need you, Whoa
It isn't fair for me to blame when in the end, every heartbeat is the same
If each and every love will go as it came then ours will be the ashes that mark the flame
[Fi$cher Rich]
Was it something I did or was it just the separation?
Anxiety with each notification
You always said you were my number one fan but before that,
You were my number one friend
But now it's different we're miles apart
I wrote this on my heartstrings, put it on the charts!
The memories of us are so fucking painful, I been a void filler and it got me shameful
The hurt gave birth to these lyrics,
I really gotta thank you cause you lifted my spirit,
My ride or die bitch it was nothing romantic
We had a good thing didn't wanna complicate it,
If I crossed the Atlantic
You'd be there
I've been a little flakey and a little unaware
A little self-centered and a little unfair but..
Fuck...
(We almost had everything)

[ASTRØnomer]
Friends don’t lie
We just waste each other’s time
And if you wanna die, kid,
Well then you’d better get in line
So, steady on the trigger now
'Cause I’m ready for a bigger crowd
To blow my brains out for
I’m already halfway out the fuckin' door
We lead electric lives
I’m stuck in your eyes
We lead electric lives
I’m red inside right?
It's a hive mind
It's a live wire
I’m not a writer
I’m just a good liar
[JAKENUNIS & (ASTRØnomer)]
Read between the lives of this live wire
I’ll probably blow through a few feds before I retire
(If you think this shit is fucked, you’re preaching to the choir
Imma make this bitch religious like a fat fucking friar)
All along you been rapping to the songs
Of a clinical psycho in the eyes of the Bible
(Belt to the backside, beating til your kid dies
I know you didn’t ask but yes I was baptized)
All this talk of so far makes me feel goner
(So when I’m on the track, you call me ASTRØnomer
Oh, you think I’m finished? I haven’t begun
I’ll take on infinity from zero to one
Where’s your pacifist now when your party ain’t won
Our president is making us look next to none
Uh, don’t be mistaken: murderers been running shit
Ever since the government coined capital punishment!)
[JAKENUNIS]
I don't believe the lies because I've seen the eyes of
Those who refuse to be hypnotized
Hip and thigh, we work 9 to 5
Breakin' backs over beatbreaks, defy to be quantized
Stand with me if I testify, be hip to my battlecry
Read back through the alphabet for the letters that are not "I"!
The only way we can bring more power to it,
They may send the Rangers, we just gotta power through it.
We just gotta power through it
We just gotta power through it
[Verse]
We just gotta power through it! Don't misconstrue it!
The more they fortify the state, the more we coup it!
We just gotta power through it! Don't misconstrue it!
The more they fortify the state, the more we coup it!
I'm an immigrant, so you can't tell me nothin'
Unless you speak my language, don't act like we discussin'
I got so much family, aunties, uncles, cousins
And if they touch my mama, tell the government, "Start runnin'!"
I live for hip hop and would die for the cause
¡Mi paíz es el lugar para la liberación!
Nadie no puede tomar nada de mi
¡Y eso es justicia para ellos y ti!
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
POW-POW-POW-POW-POWER!

[JAKENUNIS]
[Intro]
Oh no
Goin' solo
Feelin' so low
Gotta go it alone though
[Verse]
I try to keep this tree alive but the roots will never thrive when the inside dries
All the time, we keep each other company, I sputter out so wonderfully,
"Please don't run from me"
If you won't love me, then I won't try to some degree
To speak these worlds, look your way
Try and gain another day with you
Little boy with a lisp you loved
Never thought we had a situation
Which one of us was mistaken?
[Chorus]
I know that you miss me in some capacity
But this way, fantasy won't join us when we match realities
[Verse]
What was us? What was then?
What we held dear is now venison
Who are we? What is now?
The cryptkeeper and the princess in the tower
Where do we end? Where do we begin?
I won't submit now like I begged you then
Where do we go? Who will we know?
Will I ever see you in the bowels of earth or snow?
If I ever saw your face carved into rock, I'd spend my days keeping it under my watch
Countless children would hoist their gaze to a timeless goddess who defeated the days
[ASTRØnomer]
[Verse]
I am the voices that you’re hearing at the end of the world
I am choices that you fear, I am making toes curl
I ain’t your damn prophet, I am not your messiah
But I refuse to become society’s pariah
I’ll dig further into seeds that I have sown
Feelings I have known
Endless space I created to call my own
You demand generalization, I supply confirmation
My momentum conservation swings y’all
I swing far as my Newton balls
Swing back to when the apple falls
Isaac, now I, Zach reincarnate on the fast track
Ask yourself if what you need is really worth the flack
Yeah, you better have faith in something worth more than a stack
I’m a physical prisoner but I’m picking up the slack
I’ll cut my sentence short, pack my bag and take the Black
Snow falling through the cracks
So don’t pretend you know what’s what and what’s whack
Fuck a strap
I’ll take the whole God damn world back
To our reality, end all brutality, render duality
Before mortality catches up to the both of us
[Chorus]
If there is a God, would you please speak to me?
If it was my fault, would you please pardon me
Let the world swallow me
Everyone, now follow me
For the love of God would you speak to me?
For the love of God would you speak to me?
Please, would you speak to me?
Please, would you speak to me?
Please fucking speak to me
